In 2019, I was elected Member of The European Parliament. I promised to my voters that I would work for a fairer, more equal and more inclusive Europe and I did eagerly from day one.
During my mandate, I participated in the Renew Europe Conferences (RENEWPAC) in Marrakech and Dakar, gathering liberals from all over Europe and Africa to exchange on reinforcing cooperation between our continents and tackle together the challenges we are facing.
I am also Member of the Delegation to the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States Parliamentary Assembly (OACPS). Throughout the past years, I participated in our joint Assemblies in Rwanda, Mozambique and Angola focusing on our cooperation, youth and women empowerment.
In April, I was in an official mission to Cabo Verde. As Member of the European Parliament and Cape Verdean descent, my objective was to exchange with authorities and NGOs about how to unleash its potential and how to foster inclusion, diversity and equality for all, with the support of the EU and Luxembourg.
